Start by creating your jewelry design with 3D modeling software. You can generate realistic 3D renderings or use a 3D scanner to digitize an existing design into a CAD model.

Step 2: Printing the Wax Model
In jewelry making, the lost-wax casting method is still widely used. With DLP light-curing 3D printers and special resin wax materials, you can produce highly accurate wax models at the micron level—capturing even the finest design details.

Step 3: Wax Tree Assembly
Clean the 3D printed wax model with isopropyl alcohol, remove supports, and then assemble it onto a wax tree. Place lighter pieces on the top and heavier pieces on the bottom to ensure stability during casting.

Step 4: Mold Preparation
·Gypsum Slurry: Prepare jewelry-grade gypsum.
·Casting Mold: Place the wax tree into a flask and pour in the gypsum under vacuum.
·Dewaxing: Heat the mold to remove the wax, leaving a precise cavity for casting.

Step 5: Metal Casting
Melt the selected metal and inject it into the mold using a vacuum or medium-frequency casting machine. After cooling, remove the plaster to reveal the raw jewelry casting.

Step 6: Finishing & Shaping
Cut the pieces from the wax tree and finish them with grinding, polishing, and stone setting. The final result is a beautifully crafted piece of jewelry—ready to wear.
